Hallo Cherie Thank you for your comments on my blog. The plant is a Papyrus. It needs a lot of water, always wet earth. Take a leafstalk, turn it and put it with the leaf into the earth. (Sorry my english isn't good. I hope you know what I mean.) Greetings from Switzerland Angela

Looks like some sort of small palm tree - but I like it too.

Well actually yes. Amazingly enough BOL! Look up papyrus or umbrella grass photos on the internet. I think you'll find your plant there ;)
