It sounds as those he's a clone as so many of us recognise him as one like we had! Ours eventually became so huge and lopsided, our once-a-week gardener chided us sternly for overfeeding him! I just think it was in his genetics to become so huge. He lived in our pond for 13 years, then one morning we woke up to see him floating on his side and obviously no longer with us. It was a sad discovery and we gave him a proper burial in the garden.
