Bet those cacti catch a lot of rays where you are at. :) I'm so jealous of your land scaping. So many varities of different things. Do you ever have any problems with any of your animals getting pricked or getting thorns stuck in them?? Just wondering.
No need to be jealous of the landscaping remember the landscapers at my workplace take care of the potted cacti. On our acre we have sand and various types of cacti including a 20 foot saguaro that now has four arms . Sometimes the dogs will get one in their paws but not that often. My husband and I are picking thorns out of our shoes all the time. Fortunately they have thick soles because some thorns can be up to an inch long.
You have such an astounding array of cacti in Arizona, but obviously, I should have expected that, hey? It's a desert and where they come from, after all!
I'm so impressed to see you're leaving nice lengthy comments, Cherie :) Super!!!
It's dark here now and I can hear an owl hooting, mournfully. I LOVE hearing owls :)
