The First Rose

I was surprised to find this tiny rose on Sunday. Our rose bushes have only started to show a bud here and there, but down deep in one of the bushes I found this early flower. It's burnt around the edges from the cold and wouldn't be considered a perfect rose by far. However, to me it is beautiful and therefore deserves a picture for all to see.
