I have no idea what it is...I'd ask my husband, but he's not here presently...I do however know he'd love something like this! It's a marvellous antique piece of equipment Cherie! Treasure it! :)

It must be a seed planter, for planting a single row of say peas. The back wheels are shaped to cover the seed with soil...
